Originally from the small town of Silverdale Washington, Holly has been a self-proclaimed “musical theater geek” since she saw the 1999 ABC made for TV movie of Annie. From an early age, she was fascinated with the liner notes in cast albums and often put on one woman shows to sold-out crowds of her stuffed animals and her very patient cats. who she often cast her scene partners.
After 17 years living in the Pacific Northwest, Holly moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in Musical Theater. She is a proud graduate of the American Musical & Dramatic Academy where she obtained her BFA in Musical Theatre. While studying at AMDA Holly had the opportunity to explore multiple facets of the industry, including Acting for the Camera, Directing (stage & screen), Stage Combat (unarmed & single sword), and Dramaturgy just to name a few.
She really found her stride in her cabaret class where she learned how to pair her joy for life and love of music. She had the opportunity to move out of her comfort zone of musical theater and create fierce arrangements of artists like Jessie J, Judy Collins and Tori Kelly. Some of her favorite roles include Lucy (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), Soupy Sue (Urinetown) and Ensemble (Lippa’s Wild Party).
Holly currently resides in New York City with her curious, calico cat named Donna Murphy. In her downtime she enjoys making flower crowns, reading books by her favorite female comedians and riding her scooter while exploring new parts of the city.
